Anime Next Seasons

About Us

AnimeNextSeason.com is a website about the latest news and updates on anime series. For five years, I have been providing anime fans with a great resource to check whether a new anime season will happen. I do that with up-to-date information about sales and source material, and release dates.

AnimeNextSeason.com was founded in 2018 by Jan Varga, a passionate anime fan from Slovakia. My goal is to provide valuable information about the possibility of new anime seasons.

Mission

The mission of AnimeNextSeason.com is to:

  • Help fans stay up-to-date on their favorite anime series, including information you wont find anywhere else.
  • Provide reliable and high-quality information based on data and research.
  • Deliver informative, entertaining, and engaging content that sparks discussion and interest.
  • Become a hub for people seeking information about if anime will continue.

History

AnimeNextSeason was born in early 2018. The idea for the website was sparked by my frustration in searching for information about Accel World season 2, only to find low-quality websites with inaccurate or useless information.

As someone who enjoys analyzing anime sales and popularity, I saw an opportunity to offer real value to fellow fans by creating a website that provided insightful and reliable information about upcoming anime seasons.

The first post on the website was, in fact, about Accel World Season 2, and it quickly gained traction among fans who were looking for accurate information about the series.

Since then, AnimeNextSeason has grown to cover hundreds of anime series and has attracted thousands of readers from all over the world.

Owner/Author

Hello, I’m Jan Varga, the owner and the only writer for this website. I’m from Slovakia, and the nickname I use is MaskaThor.

My journey with anime began in 2003 or 2004 when my brother introduced me to Evangelion. It was my first experience with anime, and it was enough to get me hooked. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep love for anime and have enjoyed exploring different series and genres. So far, I did see more than 1300 anime series.

Some of my all-time favorites include Re:Zero, Steins;Gate, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Accel World, and Gintama, among others. This is my MyAnimeList.

As the owner of an anime website focused on anime sequels, I bring over 12 years of experience analyzing and researching anime sales and merchandise numbers.

My expertise extends from knowing a lot about the popularity of series, sales, and source material, to even monitoring rumors and periodically checking the official sites and social accounts for indications of new seasons.

This experience has allowed me to provide accurate and reliable information to anime fans seeking insights into their favorite shows and potential sequels.
